Abraham Mateo (born in San Fernando, Cadiz, Spain, August 25, 1998) is a singer and actor teenager from Spain. He received the Award Award at the Spanish National Music Competition for children when he was just nine years old. For more than four years, Mateo appeared regularly on television shows Menuda Noche, TV Canal Sur Andalucia. In 2009 (10 years old), he signed a contract with EMI Music Spain and, in December of that year, the self-titled debut album of his, Abraham Mateo, was released in Spain. In 2012, Mateo signed for Sony Music Spain, then released her second studio album, AM, in November 2013. The single "Señorita", he made a breakthrough in the music scene, achieving great success in social networks. The music video for "Señorita" is a music video of the hottest trends in 2013 on YouTube Spain. In November 2014, Mateo released her third studio album, Who I AM, in Spain and Latin America. It debuted at number one in México and Spain. This album received certification one Platinum and two Gold by Promusicae, the association representing the recording industry in Spain.

Abraham Mateo was the son of Antonio Mateo, construction workers and security guards, and Susana Chamorro, a housewife. He has an older brother, Tony, who also sings and plays music. Mateo was born into a family with musical roots; his grandfather was a tenor soloist in the church choir, the paternal grandfather was a flamenco singer, and her mother sing Boleros and Spanish music. He started singing at the age of three years by imitating the appearance of a TV talent show Operacion Triunfo. The first vocal coach is her mother Susana Mateo and he then continued his musical education with singing lessons. He learned to play the flute at the age of six, piano and keyboard at the age of eight, and the acoustic guitar at the age of ten, taught himself how to play by listening.
